Another goal achieved

This message contains a complete over dramatization of a very simple announcement

I'm sure we all remember scrubby JM when he had less than a 1 kd.

He struggled but he had a goal, to some day reach that positive KD and he achieved that goal over time. Filled with excitement he quickly announced his success.

His announcement was met with much applause and also some smart ass comments such as "Come back when you reach 1.5." or "Now you just need to get good." While it was merely a joke, he viewed it more as an open challenge, and so he says, "Challenge accepted."

With that he struggled some more, not just to meet said stats, but to improve skill wise. To improve more and to have the skill to go with such stats.

As time went on, JM grew to become a much better player, significantly better player even. He averaged excellent stats now.

His improvements did not go unnoticed though. No, not at all. In fact, they caught the eye of the one know as hammerhead. Hammer had judged him as good, one worthy of getting into SxS. As such, JM applied. He succeeded and was welcomed as a good addition of SxS with open arms. JM had improved to the point of being worthy of a competitive clan.

It wasn't enough, however. He still wanted to improve. So on he struggled. He looked for challenge in order to improve. He participated in clan matches, played with good players, and against good players.

And then something had happened. One day, someone JM considered to be a great player joined the other team. He was simply called cody. JM says to himself, "challenge accepted." With that he played on. Kill after kill, JM couldn't believe it. Then.... nemesis. JM had done it, he had nemesis'd cody. His greatest nemesis of all time, something even hammer hadn't accomplished.

Was it enough? Of course not, he continued on. Continuing to struggle to improve. He looked for even greater challenge. And so he ended up in more matches with the great group of players known only as Show...no.....mercy. Yet he held his own, still maintaining positive Kd's and good scores against these great players. At one point he had fell just short of accomplishing the unthinkable... nemesising the one known as Ivan. He had 4 kills on him before finally met with a 40 mil to the face. Yet he didn't consider it a failure. He was proud to even almost accomplish such a thing.

With these tremendous improvements, the game grew staler. With his improvements, there was little challenge anymore. Spawn camp after spawn camp. What was he to do? The only thing he could do. Play on his own with nothing more than a single squadmate. With this the game became fun again. With only 2 players and garbage teammates he and his fellow friend would take on teams by themselves. Now he could get more kills and better scores.

At this point it was merely a battle of time. As time went on, and JM continued to prove his great improvement, his stats continued to raise, and as time went on, it took much loner to improve these stats.
1.44...1.45........1.46...............1.47.......................1.48.....................................1.49

He was so close. It was with in his grasp. And so he continued. Match after match. High stats after high stats, it simply wouldn't budge.

And then it happened. On one fine day when he was playing with none other then Neuro. JM had dominated the opponents time and time again. Some assistance from neuro in the tank. Some assistance on foot, but he continued to dominate. That great night his stats were 3.17 and 371, these stats had done it. They tipped his stats over the edge and he had done it.

JM had accomplished his goal of reaching 1.50 after a long struggle to improve. A joyous moment indeed. And so he thinks to himself, "What should I do for this joyous occasion?" and his answer? To make another announcement, but this time different. He had to add some spice to it, he had to over-dramatize the hell out of it and talk in 3rd person the entire time.

TL ; DR: Yeah, finally reached 1.5

I just play carefully :S... and I had prior experience from the beta... though the fact I don't use every gun but only the ones I like hurt my SPM.

Anyway, yeah, I simply refuse to make an alt. I've said it before, I'll say it again, I just like improving on my stats that were garbage once upon a time.
