Oh hey, everyone. You stumbled back upon this. I never really wrapped up the revamped site I promised! That's okay though, I think we all moved on. Some truly lasting friendships and a whole fuckton of drama were developed here in a nice slushy 2:3 ratio. Should you care to find me someday, I'm on Steam. Search "bigglesbringsdanoize" and you should bump into my account. Happy travels, stranger!

South Korea? Yes, I think so.

Japan? After South Korea, no. They have a pretty decent defense.

United States? After South Korea, Japan and other actions around the globe e and utilizing an emp weapon, no. I don't think they would be able to get one close enough to get it to work. You have to think about it. The US has Radar and other tracking systems all over the world. If you put in the sky, they know. They also have all sorts of cool little tools for dealing with planes, missiles and other things. I don't think they would have taken Hawaii.

The fact is that even in economic hardships of a scope so huge that the US cant bring itself back, they still cant muster quite an army and stop aggression in other countries. Happened before and will probably happen again.

The storyline is a bit implausible, but makes a good game. They probably could have gotten away with the Chinese invade. I'd believe that one a bit more.

I think it could happen if a few things were different, like if North Korea was somewhat prosperous, but the way things are now I doubt any of that could have happened.

its a decent attempt at a plot and im not gonna say whether i think it would happen or not because it is just a game (im not knocking anyone who wants to debate it cause i do have my opinion about whether or not i think this could happen or not)...but it is a little refreshing that it was your typical russian nemesis (or even now middle eastern nemesis)

North Korea wouldn't even be able to beat South Korea. The South Koreans not only have the funds, but they have weapons that are somewhat comparable(mainly because we treat them like Israel) to the Americans. The only thing the North has up their sleeve is nukes but that's about it.

Well if their uniforms are anything in the game, anyone could spot them 10 miles away, that's for sure.

Has France ever managed to win a war outside of the Napolean era?

France did incur huge losses and win World War 1.

And Lucas I'm not saying wether they would win in any hypothetical war but they do have the means to wage war anywhere Earth, via their aircraft carriers, large airforce, ballistic missiles and well trained and technologically advanced military.

Plus unless the USA invades countries 10x smaller and with less than 0.1% of their military budget they seem to have trouble.

I thought the whole point of it being NK was because it's not realistically plausible, and a complete "what if."

Yet there's a bunch of protests and controversy over this game; it's funny.

Things would only be a problem for anyone when nukes come into play.

I don't really count the World Wars as total victories by France. Sure, they've won, technically, but only because they were sided with the guys who actually knew how to wage war, lol. I mean, come on, didn't Nazi Germany capture Paris at some point in WWII? What about that territory Germany invaded right before WWI ( IIRC )?
I was actually asking about wars they've founght in the past in which they have actually won when not under the command of Napoleon.

Don't forget China.

Also, consider that the moment NK attacks SK, a global coalition force would counter attack. NK has a nuke program, but they don't have any strategic depth.

Pretty much, the French gave up as soon as the Germans looked at them. Also, They have only won two wars in their history without US intervention.

Pretty much every European country gave up in WW2 apart from Britain, Poland and Finland. And I love it how Americans so casually ignore how the Soviet Union suffered 18 million deaths and defeated Nazi Germany, more than America ever did.

And Beazel France suffered terribly in WW1. 2 million dead, 9 hundred thousand disabled and over 5000 towns and villages destroyed.
