Starting Up Again
In a pathetic attempt to not completely suck at BF3 when that comes out, I've started playing this game again. I'll probably be playing until BF3 releases, so if anyone out there cares to join me on my endeavor, my ID thingy for this is: Bigglesworth524. Especially if you can actually fly the damn air vehicles. I have yet to encounter a random that can.
This game is a little more hardware-intensive than most F4P games I know of, so if your computer is more than 5 years old, chances are you won't be able to play, in case you missed it back while it was still in beta.

Biggie it doesn't work cant figure it out, at first i installed it and when i tried to play it gave an error which was because of the graphics card being a bitch.

Re: Starting Up Again
Biggles meant it when he said BF P4F is the most hardware-intensive F2P game out there. And he was being generous about the 5 year thing, if your PC wasn't made for gaming in the first place it'll have trouble running it. My laptop is about 3.5 years old and I run it on lowest settings at 15ish FPS. Ya, that dun work.

Exactly, It's supposed to be a free BF2 copy I THINK but BF2 is still better overall.palto1826 wrote:so after playing a couple hours i realized the name of the game should be change to battlefieldgetsniped4free

Re: Starting Up Again
What "issues", don't run BF2 through Steam and Origin.

Re: Starting Up Again
P4F's only real problem I've run into is the community.
The people I've run into, as a whole, are less mature than even the CoD audience.

You can try turning off "Enable Steam Community In-Game".palto1826 wrote:I will attempt to play again...how do I run the game without running on steam when I bought it through steam?

Re: Starting Up Again
In one match, I had three kids call me a hacker, a camping sniper order me around, and a spambot.
Actually, the spambot was pretty funny, until he got banned.
"come to my website for free porn pics! Hot sexxy ladies with full front nudity! 18+ or parent supervise!"

Re: Starting Up Again
So it would appear that even in this game, the P2P retard syndrome still occurs. To think that it only existed in anything Nexon made............

Who on Earth would ask their parents to "supervise" them so they can watch porn?

Re: Starting Up Again
You've been watching too much porn Beazel. XD
I have a humorous story involving MILFs/GILFs actually.
My girlfriend's brother does part-time translating work from English to French. An American pornographic website offered him $200 to translate their website into French. He was reluctant at first but it was pretty good money for only half an hour of work. So he got to it. When he came to the word "GILF", he had no idea what it meant so he typed it into google and was traumatised for the rest of his life XD.

Re: Starting Up Again
Banana...that's pretty good Felix...though my little brother had a similar incident... A while ago he wanted some new ice skates so he wanted to do a little research and see which ones he liked...in the area we live in over here there is only one sporting goods store...that store is called dicks sporting goods...needless to say that WWW. Dlcks. com is not that company's website...(I put spaces in there so I didn't make a link there...if for some reason it did I apologize)
