Dungeon Defenders
Anyone interested in this? It's a "4 player co-op tower defense action RPG ...in short".
I think it was released on PSN in US on the 18th, and today (19th) in EU.
And, apparently, it will support cross platform play between PS3, PC, mobile and PSVita.

Re: Dungeon Defenders
Mkay, dungeon defenders is pretty damn good.
It runs really smooth, which sadly you don't see from many games anymore and it's very fun.
The characters aren't very equal in terms of power imo though. Monk and squire are good, apprentice is pretty meh, don't really know about huntress. Could just be judging too quickly though.

Re: Dungeon Defenders
The demo is fun. I beat that ogre. SOB. Why would they make him all super invincible? Also, why is it that I walk into the tavern the 1st time and the pets are 9,000 mana and then I come back and there 70,000 mana? Jerk.

Re: Dungeon Defenders
Just tried the demo out not too long ago myself. It's not half bad, but I can't help but feel limited in the demo(then again, most RPGs have this feeling). Oh and can anyone confirm if trial people can play online? If so, can they play with people that have the full version or only other trial people?

Lucas, if you want to save something to buy later, you can lock it...
Also, I THINK the item choices are based on the last lvl you played, not 100% sure though.
And the ogre isn't THAT bad, isn't even a boss, you'll fight multiples later on.

Everyone needs to get this game. NAO! Seriously, this is by far the best PSN game. IMO, of course. But i'm hooked on it hardcore. If anyone plays it in SoFA, send me a FR if I don't already have you added.

The indie devs seemed really cool too, just guys like you and me. They'll probably take good care of the game.
Re: Dungeon Defenders
JM dragged me back into this. We're always looking for more friends to watch hallways we can't watch ourselves :>

I do wish... :\ But you're right. If you have the option to play it on PC, you'd be silly to purchase it for a console. I was just hoping.

Re: Dungeon Defenders
Developers completely dropped support of the console version because the processes to get stuff through on ps3 and xbox 3 was annoying or something like that.
While the PC version has quite a bit of support, it has several DLCs including mission packs, new characters, and costumes.
Anyway, it was on sale on steam for 66% off, so only $5. I ended up getting a 4-pack of it (for $15) and another copy for felix. Plus, Biggles already had it. Thus it's like the new SoFA game because Biggles, omni, henk, beazel, felix, and I all have it now. Also since 6 of us have it, we got a mission dlc that has 6 player coop, just in case we're all on.
Btw, it's actually on summer sale right now for 50% off ($7.49)

I'm back from my holiday/vacation so I'll download this as well. For VOIP we use Steam right? Also what does the Steam Workshop have for it?

Re: Dungeon Defenders
Well, I'm pretty sure DD would run comfortably on any PC released after 2005 with a dual-core processor.... if anyone cares to join in on our fun times but is worried about it running.
It's still on sale, and will be until the 23rd. :>
HEARING MY SEXY VOICE CAN BE YOURS... FOR $7.50!

Re: Dungeon Defenders
No offence Biggles but whilst I am dying to hear yours, mine is the draw of the show. Also I demand that everyone uses Push to Talk. Especially if you use speakers like Beazer (D)

Re: Dungeon Defenders
I don't even know what the push to talk button is.
But yes, you all should jump on the bandwagon! When omni first heard Biggle's voice he was speechless! Ask Biggles, he'll tell you. For only $7.50 you can hear him tell you too! :O
No really though, it's a fun game, $7.50 is a good price, the game is quite fun.

Re: Dungeon Defenders
I was disappointed with Biggles' voice. As a bear politician ( politician bear? ) I excepted him to be quite eloquent but have a very grizzly voice. Grizzly like Max Payne's, but less melancholic.
But no, he had to sound like your average ammurkhan young adult sounds like. HE'S NORMAL PEOPLE, GET OVER IT.

Re: Dungeon Defenders
Well, if it's any consolation, I'm disappointed in your voice too.
I was expecting something spicy and South American, and instead got what sounded like nails chewing on glass. Badassness isn't acceptable. GET MOAR SPICY

Re: Dungeon Defenders
Felix sounds like a combination between Harry Potter and David Mitchell (which is high praise indeed).
