IT'S TOO SCARY! I can barely walk to do the first mission. IDK why I find horror games much scarier than films.
From now on, Biggles can you use the steam messaging, voice call to guide me through XD.

Lol, the majority of people are these "Herp derp horror movies/games don't scare me" types. Yeah dumbass, that's because you're supposed to let them do that, it's not like it's a contest between you and the movie director/game developer. And not being scared by movies doesn't make you cool, LMAO.
So, how's the game, how is it scaring you? :>

Re: S.T.A.L.K.E.R
I find paranormal horrors to be scary. The Exorcist is probably the scariest film I've ever seen, apart from the the funny parts like when her head turns round. Paranormal Activity was good as well.
Well as for S.T.A.L.K.E.R (sorry my OCD-ness prevents me from just writing stalker) the whole atmosphere of it and scary invisible mutants combined XD.

Lol, I can see what you mean. I was even nervous when going down into the tunnels with ghouls in Fallout 3. XD
Re: S.T.A.L.K.E.R
The tunnels in Fallout 3 were scary as hell. I'll admit it, I'm a big pansy when it comes to scary games. At least in S.T.A.L.K.E.R you have companions sometimes.
IMO the scariest game ever is Resident Evil 1. Anyone remember the dog jumping through the window? That was the worst part.

Re: S.T.A.L.K.E.R
And the opening, live action movie clip, in RE1 was the funniest part in any video game. XD
Re: S.T.A.L.K.E.R
Nah, the Red Orchestra 2 tank-beheading incident is the funniest. Their reaction is like nothing out of the ordinary has happened, despite the headless guy gushing blood everywhere.
The funniest part of Resident Evil were the lines. "Jill, here's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you."

I just find the cheesy, campy, over the top, hilarious "horror" opening to be the funniest. :'>

Imo, Rage will make you more tense than Fallout 3's subway tunnels. Although a large part of it has to do with the audio.

Re: S.T.A.L.K.E.R
One part, just one part, in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. scared the shit out of me.
You're down in some tunnel, and all of a sudden... well, you'll see.
Suffice it to say, weird shit starts happening that you can't stop.
I think it was about 3-4 hours in.
EDIT: So far, Metro 2033 is far scarier. Mainly because there are fucktons of ghosts. Ghosts are the one thing that scare me.
Because you cannot kill them. They just keep coming.

Well it looks like I will not be getting any of these games...I can barely handle the ghosts in Mario...those fuckers just creeping up on you when your not looking...and don't even get me started on true floating masks from Mario 2...following you around all smuglike even when you switch screens...I've even had nightmares as a kid about games that would have walls that would follow you through the level and if they caught up to you, you would die...kid chamealeon stole countless hours of my sleep as a young boy
