I never harassed him, trolled him or flamed him. I discussed the issues he brought up in his commentaries, gave my honest opinions, debated and criticized when appropriate. My posts got thumbed up and became top posts on many of his videos. He never replied, and finally just blocked me, like he has done with many others. Guess he just wants to be surrounded by yes-men and brownnosers now.

Turns out he's a big baby. And while I can be a bitch sometimes, he's certainly no saint himself, he insults his viewers, uses foul language and is very opinionated himself. But seems insanely scared of having his opinions challenged. :'>

Dead, you're not a bitch, especially compared to Calhoun. Seems like Swords likes to contradict himself. I remember when he made a video saying how he had no faith in CoD and its rehashes yet here he is buying the game.

Since BF3 came out he's done nothing but complain and whine about it, while being incredibly apologetic and defensive about MW3.

BF3 had enormous hype - thus expectations were high - thus any faults it might have are going to seem enormous.

MW3 was ridiculed even before release - thus expectations were low - thus faults were expected - thus any good features it might have are going to seem unexpected and fantastic.

Know yourself, know how your psyche works and fools you, be critical of yourself, and for gods sake, try to at least be a little bit objective if you consider yourself a commentator/reviewer of any sort.

On a kind of unrelated note, COD getting a lot of praise for these blatantly ripped off game modes gets on my nerves. Gun Game was a mode made nearly a decade ago for CS and this kill confirmed is Crysis 2. >_>

I really did use to enjoy Swordsmans commentaries back when he was starting out, and not just because he posted BC2 videos. I even enjoyed his CoD videos and every other game he played and talked about.
But he's become more and more sensitive, arrogant and defensive. He lost his humbleness.

Yeah, I've pretty much stopped watching swordsman. His attitude and commentary has just gotten kind of... yeah, you guys all know what I mean. His gameplays were never all that good either, so I pretty much don't bother watching his videos anymore.

bl1nk is/has been my favorite DCRU member, he's probably the best of them and the best along with Colin towards viewers. I like Colin and jaye too though. Stone seemed to get worse and more bitchy, so I stopped watching his vids too.

MGO featured a mode where getting dogtags as snake was the only way to get confirmed kills as well.

MGO featured a mode where getting dogtags as snake was the only way to get confirmed kills as well.

I remember that mode quite well. Although the only way for the dogtags to drop was to either holdup the person or stun them. And yes, CoD does get a lot of undeserved credit. But then again, most of its fanbase act as if CoD is the only FPS in existence.

Lawl, Swordsman just announced he's gonna take a step back(maybe even quit) from Battlefield videos. I really can't understand what he's complaining about since he keeps saying he's "not having fun" yet doesn't say why. Maybe its his stats? They're not even that bad yet I get the feeling he's hates the game just because it doesn't go in his favor. I was gonna unsub from him anyways due to his recent excessive whining and being a hypocrite about CoD, but this video just reminded me to do so.

He hates BF3 because he's under the impression that he's the hero of every match. In CoD he and his butt buddies can win every match, but in BF it takes a whole team and that hurts his ego. Sure, he loved BC2, but when you think about it, what are most of his BC2 videos about? SDM...

Isn't he part of the DCRU? You know, that closet group that started on Xbox but all became PC hoes because they all agreed on it? I don't mean any malice against DCRU, but I'm sure retard randoms is why Swordsman joined their group to begin with. It is why SoFA and R3D was founded, after all.

Yeah, I know the DCRU has real-life obligations, but it's not like he couldn't find another social group to hang with as well. He kinda brought it on himself if you ask me.

It's a little late and I'm not sure exactly what you're saying with your post, but just to clarify:
I'm in no way against clans or communities, obviously, since I'm part of one myself. Playing with friends is what you should do. What I meant is, he expects him and his friends to win every time, he needs to be the hero. He basically thinks if he and his friends play good enough, they should always win. He's made comments like "If you're interested in winning, don't play BF3". See, that's sort of the point of BF, it's chaos, luck of the draw. A whole team of mostly randoms have to somehow work together to win, that's obviously not going to happen every time. A fantastic squad is no guarantee of winning the match. Or, a team of 12/32/whatever good players can still lose if they don't work together.
I think he's arrogant in that regard, "Whine whine whine, my team sucks, randoms suck, me and my buddy played great but we still lost, ergo BF3 sucks". Suck it up moron, it's BF. That's why he prefers small teams and small maps and small games, he wants to be in control of everything.

Yes, BF3 is about teamwork, but even teamwork isn't perfect. Hence, that's why you get those occasions where even 4-6 SoFA guys can't win a match because some asshole random who can't drive a tank for shit hogged it the whole round. And my earlier comment was directed at the assumption that you meant Swords was annoyed at how stupid randoms can be.

And I like that about BF3, that nothing is guaranteed and that almost anything can happen. He just can't let go and be a mere cog on the battlefield, he has to be in control, otherwise he gets cranky. I hate when people blame a game for it's community, "randoms won't give me ammo, hence BF3 must suck". I swear to god, next time I hear that I'm going to smack that person.

Yeah, the fact that nothing is set in stone is also one of the reasons why I try to learn how to utilize every type of vehicle. Because you have to prepare for the unexpected, after all.

I just never really watched Swords or Stone because I always had the impression that they're just self centered people that post videos to feed their own ego, like Camper has already sort of stated, it's better to listen to more positive people then that.
