Oh hey, everyone. You stumbled back upon this. I never really wrapped up the revamped site I promised! That's okay though, I think we all moved on. Some truly lasting friendships and a whole fuckton of drama were developed here in a nice slushy 2:3 ratio. Should you care to find me someday, I'm on Steam. Search "bigglesbringsdanoize" and you should bump into my account. Happy travels, stranger!

Dinner in a bowl - Moral decay or innovation? Empty Dinner in a bowl - Moral decay or innovation?

Post by DeadCamper Wed Dec 14, 2011 5:14 am

Today, I tried out JMs eccentric food habits by eating, you guest it, dinner from a bowl. For you who might not know what the hell I'm talking about, JM caused quite the controversy on the xat a week or so ago when he revealed that he has never seen a dinner plate in his life and that him and his ancestors have always used bowls. Meatloaf, potatoes, vegetables, even entire turkeys have been squeezed into bowls and often eaten with a spoon. Many of us refused to believe him of course, but he insisted upon it and went on to threaten us all with a ban if we questioned his family trees proud traditions.

I decided I had to experience this spectacle for myself, but as a novice I dared only start out with nooby corn. Even potatoes felt way too advanced, but time will tell where this journey takes me.

I tremble as I post this picture, I'm through the looking glass here people...

While reading this, I was eating an apple, with my bare hands, and suddenly felt like a savage.

Camper is capable of making even a bowl of corn look artistic enough due to the lighting and the PS3 on the foreground to show his gamer ego.

Okay, I'm going to ask you a couple of questions and I want them answered immediately.

1) Who has corn for dinner? It's fine as a side dish but just corn for dinner?

2) What is the PS3 controller resting on?

3) What type of carpeting is that?

4) Val, why is your spoon so oddly shaped?

4) Scorex, what the hell is that in your sig? Ginger asian woman, *shudders*

Uh, no. Quite the opposite actually.

And I was eating that apple at work, so I had to use whatever scrubby utensils we have here. Including weird pointy spoons.

I've eaten from both interchangeably. But since JM says he's never seen a plate in his life and it's a tradition to eat from bowls, I'm gonna assume he's Asian.

Jesus Christ you guys are mind numbingly thick sometimes. "DUUUH what's strange about eating from a bowl? I do it. Lolol Dead doesn't know some people eat from bowls" - IT'S A FUCKING JOKE. You're supposed to go along with it. Do I seriously have to explain how humor works? Just ignore this topic lol.
Sorry JM, the dinner in a bowl joke is officially dead, these guys ruined it. Rolling Eyes

I'm the opposite of JM. I eat everything on a plate, with a knife and fork. Including cornflakes:

Felix, I have a few questions.

1. Do you always eat with your Playstation 3 controller within sight?

2. Was the polka-dotted dinnerware of your choosing?

3. What type of wood are those chairs made of?

4. How did you feel when Honey Nut Flakes advertised 50% less salt?

5. Is that thing on the far wall an electrical outlet?
a. If it is an outlet, what do you often plug into it?
b. If it is not an outlet, what is it?

6. Y U no buy Sony camera?
