So on the 8th of February Sony is renaming our precious PlayStation Network to Sony Entertainment Network.

Apparently the change is part of Sony's goal to "improve their unique digital entertainment products. As part of this work Sony began to combine PlayStation ® Network and Sony Entertainment Network in September. It helps us achieve our goal to have a global network platform with services for games, film, music and more - and everything will be available from a single account."

Sounds kinda gay, but whatever.

I've never heard of SEN before but it doesn't sound bad. It'll be interesting to see where this leads.

Hope this aint a sign of things too come... You know, montly fees or something similar. If that happens i will mostly stop playing online, hope Sony will never do that, stick with PSN+. A lot of people decide to buy PS3 over 360 due to the free network, thats why 360 has more kids, its the parents that pay the fees, when they start having theyre monetary independence they realise PS3 is a lot cheaper.
Paying for the internet is bad enough already.

Not that this is an attempt to completely erase the network attacks back in April from the Playstation brand name altogether or anything.

I decided against Xbox because of online monthly fees. Thats why I dont have both. If they start charging, I'm done with Sony.
