Actually, much more of an upgrade that most expected, since expectations were low.

I was thinking back to when the ps3 was announced. Number of cpu cores at the time was something pc couldn't match... and I'd argue, why it has had so much longevity. PS3, when they use the hardware right, is as powerful as a mid-range pc even today.

Yes, however I'm not sure if you can just straight up compare todays situation with that. But sure, you might've expected more, but most people are cheering as it seems to be more powerful than what anyone dared to hope.

One thing's for sure...

New Xbox's specs are just... baffling.

The proposed specs are slower than my pc. And my pc's dying. And is a few years old. >_>
