yeah I just started using the usas but mainly in hardcore...im surprised I still haven't gotten any hatemail for that Wink

...to be honest I really don't mind any gun in the game I think the balance is done well...not saying its perfect but still pretty good

in all honesty, it is pretty op now.
with AMM0/Shotgun + you can clear a room of 4 people in seconds before they can react. and still have 2 shots left.
it usually doesn't affect me too much being killed buy it..unless hit detection goes out the window...then i start raging about everything.

yeah...ill rage about when I get killed by it a lot and everyone is using it...but when only 1 or 2 people are using it on the other team it cool...it definietly more powerful than the bc1 version...the gun that the hit detection has been pissing me off lately is the vss...it was the first gun I platted and my go to gun when I wanna get outta a slump but seems to be fucked up lately

I love the guy, but that quote is unfortunately faulty. That's like DICE putting in a clearly OP'd gun, lets say a Ray Gun that vaporizes a squad with one shot, but you're not allowed to complain about it because then you're a noob. Just because a gun is in the game doesn't auto-magically mean DICE are all knowing and get everything perfectly balanced.

And, yet again, the USAS isn't "ZOMG OP" in my opinion. I've said it several times, I don't have a problem with it and I poop on it's users easily, the problem is that it's a crutch. If you kill me with a 870 = respect. If you kill me with a USAS it means you're probably a poor player who can't aim. And I hate crutches that artificially enhance a players skill.

Yes of course. I know you don't think like that, you're one of the, if not the most, clear thinking, smartest person I've met in BC2. My post was directed at those on GFAQS that say offensive things like it was made for handicapped people or other BS.

I don't like the USAS/SAIGA, strangely enough I don't play well when using them. I just think they are overblown in their OPedness. Smile

Yeah I know Felix. But it's like people have to go either with one extreme or the other. One second half the guns are "OP!!!!11" and the next "Lol I'mma god I killz dem all no matter wut dey use". Some stuff isn't necessarily OP, but more easy mode.

Also, what the hell is up with a lot of people claiming the M416 is OP? I just can't wrap my brain around that one. :S

I think that was worded perfectly. The auto shotguns are fairly easy to use but I wouldn't consider them OPed. The only true overpowered guns in my opinion was the M60 at launch and the carl gustav at launch as well.

And people claim everything is OPed. Pedram saying that using an SMG with magnum ammo is cheap, quickscoping is cheap, M1911 is OPed and recently people saying the M416 is somehow overpowered.
