Homefront is basically BC2 with CoD combat.

Logically, I would hate this game as much as I hate MW2, Black Ops, and the like.

Yet, for some reason, Homefront is the most fun I've had with a shooter since I first started playing BC2.

3. I only know the "LIVING IN A MATERIAL WORLD (MATERIAL!)" bit, to be honest.

4. I like some things about it. The visual style, for example, I find more artistically interesting than BC2's. The guns are a lot of fun to play around with as well. However, I think the fact that it shipped with a gamebreaking-yet-easily-discoverable glitch says it all: they didn't spend enough time balancing or playtesting.
