Oh I remember. It was going to be as good as BC2 because everyone was so hyped about it here. Then I couldn't even get online with it and everyone else could. I'm even going to delete all of it off of the HDD. This game blew and that included the storyline that was supposed to be so amazingly different. It was basically what would happen if you lost the last mission in BC2 because it ws the same weapon.

oh who could forget toilet's rants on this game...i think he must have bought shit tons of stock in that company...it just sucks that it went the way of a lot of shooters...when theres very little content its bound to be thrown to the curb >_>

Yes, it was a really bad time to release so many shooters. I mean, KZ3, Crysis 2, Homefront and Bulletstorm in the span of 1 month? ( late february to late march )
That's kinda overkill.

Yeah, seems like every single one of them got a little piece out of COD.

Killzone 3 did it wrong in combining really high damage ( since the OCD kids don't like shooting something for over 0.5 seconds ) with the slower paced player movements and actions. A wise man once told me that in a game, the faster you are, the less bullets you should need to get killed. The opposite also applies.

... And I just realized OCD is an anagram of COD. LOL.

Crysis 2 did it wrong in copying pretty much every part of the metagame.
- Level up to customize classes
- Level up to unlock game modes
- Dogtags = Callsigns
- Killstreaks
- Crap P2P connectivity ( LOL )

Homefront did it wrong in trying to combine aspects that set COD and Battlefield apart. At least that's what I've seen in it.

Bulletstorm? Yeah okay, I don't see the fun in air juggling stupid AI enemies.

You actually don't die that fast in KZ3. Not much faster then BC2, at least. The only thing that annoys me on that is the Infiltrator class, and even that is a little.

I've heard the Crysis online is bad but SP is great. Either way, there aren't many shooters left until December, when BF3 comes out.

To be honest, I wasn't terribly bothered, but I think they haven't reached that sweet spot. They changed it so drastically from KZ2, it's crazy. But then again I guess I'll take overall high damage than peashooters that rape because spray and pray nets you free headshots ( I'm talking about the StA11 SMG in KZ2 )

I decided not to get KZ3 because of invisible marksmen camping with the silenced pistol. And the assault rifle. Whoever thought it was a good idea to give the sniper class good means of protection in close range should be fired.

Have you guys even played Homefront? It's a good game, wouldn't have lasted very long with the little content though, gameplay was fun, very balanced game, and it was unique in it's own way, if you played then you would know, without judging it on youtube clips.

The entire enemy team I just played against were Infiltrators. (The guys that can disguise themselves.) And since my team couldn't figure that out, we got our asses handed to us. I really hope they just replace the cloaking ability with something more reasonable.

Hit detection is kind of off too. For me, at least. I'll hit somebody with about 15 bullets from my LMG, get one or two hitmarkers, and then get killed by one bullet.

When neither of those things are happening, its definitely awesome.

And you guys are completely looking the wrong way at Crysis 2. It is a singe player FPS. It has a 15 hour story with a good plot, gameplay and graphics. It is a step down from Crysis 1 but it is still a very good game.

And yeah I hated KZ3 from the demo, glad it has dissapointing sales.

I was caught up with the hype too. The more I saw the less interested it was. By release time I had absolutely no interest in it and expected nothing of it. Then everyone was saying it was good, I got some interest back, then it died apparently. Back to no interest (for good this time most likely)

Homefront is a balanced and fun game but the server problems and my stuff being reset I find it hard to play it again.

But there's a big patch comming out soon so I might hold off on selling this for now.
