Felix how can Crysis 2 be more fun than Homefront?

I mean, I was hyped about Crysis 2 just like I was about KZ3, but they keep fucking bringing these cheap bitchy tactics going stealth mode and shit, just ruining the whole game, people crouch walking in stealth, hell they can even run being undetected, it's stupid if you ask me.

I understand they are two completely different games but damn, HF > Crysis 2 all the way IMO, I also don't care about graphics.

I will admit Crysis 2 has average MP but the single player is by far the main focus of the game, and it shines incredibly well there. And IMO graphics are important, especially in immersion of the game. Homefront's multiplayer is CODlike than Crysis 2 anyway.

1. do not preorder, ever.
2. do not over hype anything no matter what.
3. do your homework (research the game before purchase).
4. wait at least 2 weeks just in case it's MP portion is not broken!

Bottom line is this: I am sick of paying $60 for a game that doesn't work properly upon release. It's not fair to me and every single person who paid for it. You can defend or bash a game all you want, but in the end, the only opinion that matters is YOUR OWN. This shit has been happening too frequently this generation, and it's bullshit. And before you even start with the "Wait for a patch" arguement, FUCK THAT. I shouldn't have to wait weeks to play a game. This shit should be tested properly before shipped to the masses.

I traded in this game because it is a broken piece of shit right now. Who knows, maybe one day it will be the game I hoped it would be. But i'm really getting sick of buying broken games. And you are right about one thing, Sanad. Homefront HAS taught me to wait for reviews, do my homework, and wait for word of mouth as to how the online portion of a game is running. I was so hopeful for this game, and i'd have to say it was by far my worst let-down yet this gen.

TL;DR - We shouldn't have to pay $60 for something that doesn't work when it could have been finished COMPLETELY before it is released. Is that too much to ask?

And any preorder bonuses, if any, aren't worth it.

I got $20 today and I bought a PSN card. I bought Tetris and that Blob game. I like the blob one, but its 15. Thnak goodness Tetris is 5.

The game price point should be decided like this:
game = standered full price - (amount of DLC x DLC price) = actual price.

let's take Dead Space 2 for example:

Dead Space 2 = $60 - (15+7) = $38 !!!!!
The weapons DLC's = $5, 3 of them = $15, severed DLC = $7

So there you go, Dead Space 2 should have been sold for $38, methink atleast =/

WOAH WOAH WOAH! Hahaha beazel, i dont know about you, but i am really enjoying this game. I've never had this much fun in a video game! Hell, i didnt even feel like this when i started bc2! But like other people are saying, its impossible to get into games :/
The patch isnt far away though. Once that patch comes, all will be fixed. So @everyone saying i was gonna be disappointed i wasnt Very Happy

Homefront came out to be what i expected it to be.

Heres the thing. People just dont have faith. People give up too easy. I will admit i am a bit pissed at the things going on so far. A patch isnt far away, so i still got hopes. But if the patch doesnt do shit, then im done just like everyone else.

TBH I don't know what you mean about "patience" and "faith". Homefront has been out for more than a month and it still is a broken game. It coming out broken at all is bad enough, but it's been a month and it is still not fixed? That's just ridiculous.

I'm sorry but devs like this shouldn't be supported, they should be shunned. Probably too busy planning DLC before release to even care about dealing with or making sure the game is working.

It's a little annoying that it's taken SONY over a week to certify the patch. They've done some server maintenance that's fixed the matchmaking a little though, it's a slow process but still a fun game and once you find a good game you'll be in it for ages.

Unlike most people here, i am patient. If it takes 2 months for this game to start working, then all right. The game is really fun, and i am really enjoying it. And from i heard, bc2 wasnt playable for the first 2 months either with all the lag and such. BTW, it hasnt even been a month yet Razz
