It's not completely dead, the matchmaking sucks, when waiting for players to join in the lobby it's so annoying because most people leave, It wouldn't be so bad if the damn game just started with 12 players, they're releasing a patch soon to fix the matchmaking.

I'm vary of calling a game awesome before launch nowadays, we all know what happened to MoH. But I gotta say, BRINK looks like something completely different to what we're used to. I mean, it may not be everybody's cup of tea, but it's definitely not just meh. Seems pretty innovative.

Yeah, when you are just dying heeps in a competitive FPS game or when things aren't working out, I could see myself just putting BRINK in. You're right though Camper, can't call games awesome before release lol.

I sort of regret buying Homefront, but I don't mind much since I support it being even remotely different, which is the reason why I wanted it to begin with. (I got it for $40 anyway) Haven't even tried online.

There's a lot of features missing, like a page to keep track of the collectibles, which is only accessible when picking up one.

I mainly hate the controls: crouch and melee. I really hate that crouch isn't on R3.
Having a better grenade animation would be nice, I barely know where I'm throwing it.

Looking forward to Brink mostly because it supports gameplay that I've always wanted.

I'm still looking forward to FPS where US isn't the protagonist.

Why are you glad you didn't pick it up?
They will be releasing a patch soon and IMO this game kicks KZ3's ass all over the place.
BC2 has just spoilt me.

I've been watching some of JDM's videos, for some reason it seems too much like CoD and not enough BC2, which is not a good thing. I mean not just in gameplay, but the matchmaking.

And a 3-4 hour campaign? No thanks.

nah im not glad...im rather depressed about it cause i need money for rent and want to make sure thats covered first...i know i got my priorities all screwed up but hey, its either rent, homefront or diapers for my little girl

CoD4 isn't that great, IMO, overhyped and overrated, but it is one of the better CoDs simply because of some of the things that happen; or story-wise.

Hate to be the annoying PC guy but COD4 is excellent on PC, you'll never play the console version again after playing that.

Nyah, Felix, even games with Console-itis are arguably better than the console versions, even if they are just a crappy port Razz

Of course, console-itis means the game could be better overall if there wasn't a console version involved... >_> But you probably know that.

Console ported games are better on PC anyway. COD4 wasn't a console port, MW2 and Blops are.

Well, I sold BFBC2.

I was playing with Val and Dead last night, and I just realized I wasn't really enjoying the game. I was freezing constantly and I got killed most of the time because I was lagging. It just doesn't seem like EA cares anymore.

I bought KZ3 today, I think that'll last for quite awhile.
