ok so i bought bfbc2 for pc and just started playing that...man its gonna take some getting used to...all this choosing server stuff is new to me and the recoil is different and the burst firing is different and forget about trying to fly the helicopters...im probably gonna remap the controls for the helicopter cause im not liking the use of the mouse for the pitch...so ive decided that someone else needs to get it also

so far its good...just gotta get used to the mouse controls...the team i was on wasnt very good but the server rules were no baseraping so we could always spawn without getting killed right away...though there were a ridiculous amount of tickets and it was on heavy metal

i was debating getting bc2 on PC, but think i'll hold off, got play4free and waiting for BF3... so i think i'm good... does PC BC2 support joysticks?

I don't think so Omni, though BF2 did and BF3 likely will as well.

And I played a few rounds of Play4Free and it was fun. I was on a good team but then they balanced the sides and we got stuck with bushwookies.

I can't play P4F with this crappy laptop. Hell, I get framerate drops in GTA Vice City every once in a while. I can't play Minecraft either, LOL.

Just got BC2 for PC.

Was running 1280x800 with Advanced Settings with no problem or touching the settings.

Max resolution looks insane.

Ya well, you get what you pay for. And for an expensive PC you get MOAR GRAFIX.

P4F is crap, btw. I WANT TO TOGGLE CROUCH, my f'ckin' pinky finger is sore, and SCREW THAT PREMIUM WEAPON BS <_< I guess I shoudn't expect much after BF Heroes went mercenary and changed the purchase options from 1 week and 1 month to 1 day and 3 days respectively, AND STILL KEPT THEM AT THE SAME PRICE. >___>

I've only seen a frame rate drop so far in bc2 when I was a gunner in a tank, I was shooting, a mortar strike was coming down, like 15 people on screen, a couple guys next to me were shooting away , and I was shooting and moving the turret...jdm friend me....palto1826...in the meantime ill try and find and friend you

hey also i think i may be in the market for a new monitor here...any suggestions?... dont want to spend more than like $150...i did some looking around and found stuff but i wasnt sure if any of you knew what was better than other stuff...i was just gonna go off the assumption that the companies that make better tv's also make better monitors

Just got a Razer Deathadder mouse. This is a big improvement from my shitty hp stock mouse lol.

It has a HDMI port so you can use it for your PS3.

jdm...when do you normally play cause I'm usually split between playing bc2 on pc and ps3 and will probably choose ps3 because there are more people to play with...plus right now I've been playing on any server labeled noob to get used to the control (though I think the servers I've played on so far have been for stat padding cause I've seen quite a few level 50's on the noob servers)

The Deathadder is a nice mouse, I sold mine and went back to my old Logitech G1 but the grips on it are so worn down as I've been using it for 3 years. So I'm either getting the Deathadder:

I like my intellimouse...fits my hand nice...its not weighted at all though and the side buttons feel a little cheap but all in all it a good mouse for a less money...i think I need a better mouse pad (well a bigger one at least) the biggest annoyance is when I'm in a tank or vehicle and you only have so much travel with the mouse but I'm still working on my setup and what works best

I'm playing more BC2 on PC for now. I am almost used to the controls. I'm not touching the choppers lol.

I also have the Razer Goliathus mouse pad which works nicely with my deathadder.

Oh yes the Goliathus is a good mousepad. What size is yours JDMY? I was choosing bewteen the Goliathus and the Vespula but in the end I spent a bit more and got the Vespula as it has this neat little thing of it is double sided, speed surface on one side and control on the other. What size and surface is yours JD?

Also Palto I'd reccomend getting a good sized mouse pad, the generic ones are just too small IMO. The Razer Goliathus Medium Control is excellent.

And you guys are really tempting me. Since I've reached Level 50 on PS3 and Hells will be leaving soon I want to play it on PC. It is really cheap as well. Playing BFplay4Free and more COD4 lately also made me realise how much I prefer KB+M for FPS games. After playing that going back to the DS3 just feels weird.

Also I hear that choppers are a lot harder on PC.

noooooo hells can't leave, he's a riot to play with...yeah I'm def gonna get a bigger mouse pad but I also think I need a bigger desk...so far the choppers haven't been bad as in taking them out but yes flying is a bitch...the bc2 helicopter flying is easier than the play4free though...i think I'm gonna get a joystick though or at least change the controls to keyboard only for flying

If you bothered you could use your PS3 controller for flying. BC2 does have controller support but you'd need to download this program for it and map the buttons. Might be a hassle though. Maybe just fiddle around with chopper settings to find something comfortable.

It would be pretty cool if you ran into the DCRU guys, Masdeath or Sgt.Enigma. Smile

get motioninjoy drivers for PS3 controllers... lets' you create profiles, plus it can emulate an MS 360 controller for PC.... making it pretty much compatible for everything.

Yep motionjoy is the one I was reccomended. Will use it whore out the jets and choppers in BF3.
