I have the biggest size control Goliathus mouse pad.

You don't need a bluetooth dongle to use the ps3 controller.

I got my ps3 controller set up to fly but my L2/R2 buttons don't work(I use square for fire,X for alt, O for exit, L1 for descend, R1 for ascend) and the choppers are so slow.

Guys I found something pretty cool, an affordable and good quality joystick. Since I am a jet nut I'll be buying one of these for the helicopter and jets in BF3. It is called the Logitech Wingman Extreme 3D Pro. Here is a pic below. It has good reviews and a great price, it is $23 on Amazon. I'll be picking one of these up to rain hell down on the ground noobs below. Razz

that's the one I bought...i like it but it doesn't fair so well with helis mainly due to the throttle control doesn't work for them and sometimes I find myself twisting the controller (which is a whole other axis) I'm sure I could get used to it the more I use it...one heads up is I hear your not supposed to use the disk that comes with it...i forget why right now and I can't look it up cause I'm at work but just plug it in and let windows do its thing...thats what I did and is working fine...if I recall it may have been an issue with calibration...im gonna try it out on bfp4f...other than that its a real nice joystick...with a weighted base so its not tipping over and shit...for the price it is really goodif you have questions let me know

felix...do you own hawx 2 for pc at all and or planning to buy ace combat for ps3 when it comes out this year sometime? we def need to play them ...also jdm so I finally got my ps3 controller working but is it just me or do the helicopters feel my clunky and slugish when using the contoller...which makes sense when I have rarely seen a pilot that has completely raped the whole team and I've already shot more helis out of the sky with the at4 than I have on ps3

It wasn't on my radar but I'll see.

Also guys I suggest you download the demo for Company of Heroes, it is an excellent RTS game. It is one of 4 games I'm getting in May, ARMA 2, BFBC2, The Witcher 2 Deluxe Edition and Company of Heroes gold edition. I was pretty happy that in the in-game benchmarking tool I for Company of Heroes with everything maxed out I got average 80FPS.

Seen it. But it's true.

What I find ironic is that BC1, a console exclusive game, had more expansive terrain, less invisible walls and more freedom overall than the sequel, which y'all know that does have a PC version

Of course there are exceptions to the rule, BC1 is good in that it is like an old school PC shooter. But I really hope that the next consoles come out soon, it is silly that the outdated 6 year old hardware on the consoles is holding back the advancement of gaming. I'm also worried about dumbed-down games but that is the developers fault. This year alone we have Crysis 2 and Dragon Age 2 and I'm really hoping the Deus Ex: Human Revolution isn't dumbed down or anything.

i think if i buy a sandbox game im gonna get just cause 2....and on another note i just wanted to share that i just bought a new monitor and im pumped...thought i think my gpu struggles to play bfbc2 on its highest resolution but idk...the screen went black and when i took off my headset i could hear a fan (or at least i think it was a fan) going at a high rpm...but also i wasnt sure if it was because i was playing without the disk inserted and what i heard was the dvd drive, idk i just didnt want to try and recreate it...though i know it was the processor...that thing was still running cool (for playing a game) when i rebooted the computer...anyone have thoughts...i know im looking at buying a new video card but i wanted to buy the latest and greatest thing after battlefield comes out

What resolution is your new monitor?

Also Palto I did want to say you'll have to upgrade for BF3. Your 4870 is a good card but it is only Direct X9 and 10 while BF3 looks to be really pushing gaming forward so it'll be Direct X11 only. I think you should copy me and wait until Xmas to buy a new GPU. That way I'll miss out on the chaotic first month of release and can buy a new GPU at the Xmas sales. You could pick yourself up a 6950 ir 6970 which will max out BF3 for probably less than $190 Smile
