i wouldnt object to buying bc2 on the pc in order to get ready for bf3...though i hope i dont get pissed off at the online play because i would be a beginner at the controls

yeah i've been playing around with it, it's basically BF2 with a couple features from bad company (motion bals, tracer dart) but no destruction either.

god damn computer parts are delayed was hoping to be playing on my new rig right now, but friday.. or... monday.. boo.

I was thinking of getting BFBC2 myself actually but ARMA 2 is much more interesting to me. And JDMY I wouldn't recommend getting BF2. The people that still play it are hardcore veterans, you'd get stomped for weeks on end.

Heyy, I don't play many online games on my PC but I am considering switching over from the ps3. Anywaysss I also had a quick question from anyone who knows a bit more about computers than me.
My Specs:
Windows Vista Home Premium
Processor: Inter(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4Gz
RAM: 6.00 GB
64-bit OS
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro

My question is with these specs, can i run Borderlands? I would rather play it on my PC then on the PS3. I'm mainly worried about the vid card. Systemrequirementlab says its ok, but they have mislead me before.

Anyways, Games I play: Left 4 Dead, Crysis, Mass Effect 2, Sins of a Solar Empire.

im not a an expert or anythin and im mainly just responding so it the question gets bumped...but i think if you were able to play crysis or mass effect 2 you should be fine......but idk for sure i just got into computer gaming myself

If you can run Crysis at an acceptable framerate ( can't just say you can run it, but at 5fps, lol ) then you should have no trouble running Borderlands.

Cool haha, yeah crysis is playable so im assuming i can run it, however after playing left 4 dead again, I might actually go pick up l4d2 instead.

felix i was looking to possibly get the witcher also...after reading an article in game informer it piqued my interest...you think its necessary to play the first or will i be ok...im sure i should just play it either way but dont want to make any unnecessary purchases

No I remember reading that the devs will make this easy for newcomers to the series, so playing the first one won't be required.

And Beazel the Witcher 2 released on May 17th 2011, it's not out yet.

Refleks what settings do you play Crysis 1 on?

I play i think most med, a few settings on low, maybe even a few high, can't quite remember haha. I'll get more specific on that when I get home.

EDIT: After messing with the settings i just decided to play on all medium.

Crysis looks amazing even on low/medium. People always overestimate Crysis, saying you need a beast GPU to play it, my experience says different. I play on medium with 2X AA but I bump up water effects to Very High, the water in Crysis is so beautiful.

Agreed, i can definitly bump up some of the effects but I'd rather deal with slightly worse graphics then the chance that I will lag at an intense moment. I hate lag.
