GGs to Omni and Palto. Good games on B2K but Kharg was just horrible.

GGs again Omni. Fantastic caspian round, then Tehran Highway had to come up and that just sapped my energy from playing.

Lol, whenever Tehran Highway or Damavand Peak (Conquest) comes up I usually bail.

yeah, neither of those are that exciting to play for the most part... i thought Tehran would be like Arica Harbor... but it just isn't :/

Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
There seems to be a lot of tehran hate lately.
Had a clan match today. There were 2 pages of empty servers (Last time there were none, so that's good) but they were ALL tehran. After a few seconds there was 1 damavand and 1 seine, and again, 2 pages of tehran.
This is unfortunate, you see, because our opponents wanted to play Metro, Bazaar, and Tehran. They were SET on these maps, so they ignored all of the tehran servers as we needed to find and burn kharg. They were so set, in fact, that we ended up burning Kharg infantry only, but Kenny was having none of that so we ended up leaving that. After another 5 or so mins we found nosharh, so we burned nosharh and kharg. We won by 274 tickets on metro and 153 tickets on bazaar, by the way.

Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
Another thing about Tehran, and I'm not sure if this is actually true or just in my head as I'm not sure how the map rotation works, is that it seems to come up a lot. It seems like every single time I play BF3 Tehran pops up over and over. Maybe I've just played that map too many times. Damavand always sucks though.
Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
For regular Dice servers, the rotation is as follows:
Bazaar
Tehran
Caspian
Seine
Firestorm
Peak
Noshahr
Kharg
Metro
Then it goes back to bazaar.

Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
Maybe I often start with Bazaar and that's why Tehran seems to come up all the time.
Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
That would explain it.

Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
A couple of times back in BC2 I remember the rotation going funny. Hellsteeth and I were lucky in that once we joined Heavy Metal and it played 4 times in a row. Similar thing happened with Port Valdez rush, played as attackers then defenders and then attackers again.

Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
I played Oasis 6 times in a row on one server. The servers are still weird today.
I'm rank 22 on BC2 with my new account now.

Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
Am I the only one that likes Tehran Highway? Maybe the hate has more to do with the MAV exploit since that's all you see on that map now.

Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
Nah, I've never encountered the MAV exploit. I just find the map boring, a purely subjective opinion of course. If it was all sunny and bright it might suddenly turn into a fun Arica Harbor like Omni mentioned.
Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
Well considering you haven't been on for like the last month, the MAV exploit is all you see now. It's almost guaranteed that 2 people are using it when that map pops up.

Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
Yup, in other words, I disliked the map before the MAV exploit, and would probably dislike it even more now because of it.
Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
Once I saw at least 8 or so people on top of the highway on Tehran. Luckily I am friends with the admin so when I complained he told them to stop it or they'd get kicked :>
It does feel similar to Arica. I didn't like Arica at all with 12vs12 but I think it was good with 8vs8. I like the night setting though, provides an interesting change of pace.

Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
GGs Omni/PORN/BUMS. It was a shame you had to leave, the Caspian Border round was the closest I'd ever seen. We came back from 30 tickets to their 80 tickets to win by 1. The "end music" was still playing once it had ended:

Re: GG's Thread (BF3)
So Palto. SpaceCake told me last night that you and him were prancing about in the lush meadows of Caspian Border. Giggling whilst setting your devious C4 traps together. Well be warned that him and I were also VOIPed up yesterday. There was even some surprise buttseks involved (by that I mean I was capping a flag with the tank and he then drove into the back of my tank at fullspeed with his own tank )
