Re: Killing Floor - STEAM
1. Most guns, like in BC2, are situational depending on the map. You can't really stick to one class/gun.
But all the shotguns are my personal favorites though (yes, even the Hunting Shotgun, its alternate fire can kill a Scrake in two shots on Normal). As Level 6 Support Specialist shotties penetrate multiple Specimens with one shot, you can crouch down in a hallway and literally empty it completely with just one shot.
2. Worst weapon is probably the Machete/Meat Cleaver, I don't see any use for it.
3. Favorite classes at the moment are Firebug and Support, but mostly because I've leveled them up fully so I'm the most useful to my squad with them.
4. I like most of them. Offices, West London, Biotics Lab, Suburbia, Icebreaker, uh... no, I'm just going to end up mentioning them all, lol.
5. I agree with Felix, Hospital Horrors is bad, don't like it at all. Except if you have a good squad that hurries up to the roof every time, then it works.
6: Manor can be hard, but pretty much every map can be suicide if your teammates are morons and won't listen to you when you ask them to stay together. The game is designed so that the Specimens come to you, YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO LOOK FOR THEM YOU FRICKIN' IDIOTS. >:( Sorry, that was an outburst against random people I've had to play with.

A few notes:
Medic is probably one of the best classes in the game. As level 6 they spawn with armor, get discount on armor, can run faster than the other classes (much like the Berserker) and are just generally great survivors while at the same time not selfish, as they can keep the team going by healing.
Almost every time I play, an experienced Medic is the last man standing and can take out several Scrakes and Fleshpounds by himself using Crossbows, Katanas and Grenade Launchers. His ability to run fast makes him a killingmachine as he can outrun the Specimens and take them out at a safe distance. It's a pity most of us in SoFA don't use that class too much.
Also, I'm currently trying to level up my Demolitions class and it's just devastatingly good if you know how to use it. The M32 combined with the ability to carry up to 8 Pipe Bombs is almost crucial for the squad to survive.
And lastly, the Berserker for me takes ages to level up, but it's also a great class. If the rest of the team has the sense not to fire at Scrakes, a Berserker can stun it with a Katana and take care of it all by himself without receiving any damage. But often people just start firing like crazy, making the Scrake rage. Leave Scrakes alone if a Berserker is fighting it and he will love you for it. :>
Sorry for the wall-o-text. >_>

Re: Killing Floor - STEAM
joined a game last night, and people were yelling at me to heal them, but wouldn't stay still so i could... so they'd eventually die and blame me.
i don't mind healing people, but don't fucking expect me to run to some random spot on the map swarming with specimens because you think i'm your personal healing beacon.
anyways
/rant
Weapons: Hand Cannon, Crossbow, Chainsaw
Shit Weapons: dual anything, axe, machete.
Class: Medic or Sharpshooter
maps: biotics lab, west london, aperture
shit maps: dunno, haven't even played them all yet.
hardest map: that one at night in the farm... i can never see those damn crawlers.

I totally agree. A Medic can only do his job if the god damned squad stays together. Staying together is the whole point of the game. If some douchebag wants to run around just to get the most kills then he shouldn't expect to get healed.

Lol. Yeah me and Felix played a few rounds today. So let me know if any of you want to team up. Them specimens aren't going to kill themselves you know.
Re: Killing Floor - STEAM
Yep GGs Camper, it's hard to find servers as they fill up so fast.

Re: Killing Floor - STEAM
One of us should host a private server, then get Palto, Omni, Felix, JDM and me in there.
