Yep beginner is a little too easy, I prefer normal and hard is really fun if you have a decent team. One very good thing is there are a lot of maps with good variety as well.
And Faith taking screenshots is really easy, just press F12 and it'll get saved to your Steam profile.

Re: Killing Floor - STEAM
My aversion to taking screenshots is the horrible quality with which they will be taken because I play on the lowest settings.
I've yet to win on hard, even with a good team, but considering my highest perk is only lvl 3, there is probably god reason for that...

Re: Killing Floor - STEAM
I have determined that the best two weapons in the game isare the bullpup and crossbow. The bullpup is cheap, doesn't take up too much space, has a nice sight and large clip. It is so superior to the AK47. The crossbow has no penalty when hip firing and kills most with 1 shot. The only downside is the expensive ammo and large space it takes.
Also I noticed something pretty funny, on the map Departed there is a game shop with Red Orchestra 1 and Killing Floor inside it.

Re: Killing Floor - STEAM
Lol yeah, gg's Omni, twas great. And keep recording!
And I agree with Felix, because I'm not sure if I've missed something about the AK47, but the Bullpup seems like a much better deal. When playing as a Commando I do MUCH better with the Bullpup and I usually stay with it until I can afford the SCAR (which is like the Bullpup only more powerful).
However I gotta say, as you rank up your Support Specialist class the shotguns get insanely powerful, you can clear out an entire hallway of Specimens with one shot from the Hunting Shotgun.

Re: Killing Floor - STEAM
Handguns are good though! If you survive a wave you get more cash, and if you can't afford a Bullpup or whatever then save your money.
Btw, it's kinda funny that I've never ever played as a Sharpshooter but I'm still level 3 in that class. It's cool that you can level up all classes even when you're not playing them by doing certain challenges, like getting headshots or blowing stuff up.
And Felix, see to it that you buy the game! :>

When I used to play it on lan parties with my friends we didn't have fancy AKs or prettay stuff, you only had a couple of class weapons, dem pistols and some melee shit.
That being said, Support Specialist ftw.
Shotguns? Check? Welding doors? Check.

Re: Killing Floor - STEAM
Gg's Omni and Felix. And that "Game_Noob" samurai.
Didn't mean to ditch you Omni, we just had to hurry and run like hell to get to the relative "safe" spots, lol. When I first started playing I got lost all the time after we'd been to the trader and everyone else booked it. D:

Yeah, sometimes I lag too. I just hold down the trigger and hope for the best when that happens. >_>

I'll delete some stuff and make some room for it, though. Just deleted Steam the other day to get some space, guess I'll be re-installing that. I'm surprised that it takes that little to run, at least with how good it looks.
